Throughout Spring 2016, students and faculty from campuses across the City University of New York and the State University of New York to advocate for changes in CUNY and SUNY policies and funding. These policies include lowering tuition, making financial aid more accessible to the student body, introducing the Dream Act to provide aid to undocumented students, providing faculty with an updated contract and better salaries, and providing more funding for CUNY and SUNY schools.
