We are not White Sox fans:
- There are two teams in Chicago. One of the teams won a world series in 2005, the other won their last world series in 1908. One team this season is 48-41 and the other is 42-47. So the question is what team is better? Well seeing as Cubs fans wear red white and blue, and represent America, the answer is obvious… Cubs’ fans beat all of the other teams because well, we hate the White Sox.
We are loyal:
- Being a Cubs fan teaches you loyalty. Why? Because the Cubs have not always been a good team. But true fans are loyal and they stick around, regardless of game outcomes. Because being a Cubs fan teaches you loyalty…when you’re ready to get married you should NEVER think of marrying a White Sox fan. Why? Because White Sox fans do not know how to be as loyal as Cubs fans. For this reason alone, being a Cubs fan will help you in two ways…you won’t grow old and lonely, and you know, because your significant other is a Cubs fan, they are automatically, a fun, loyal, and trustworthy person.
We have learned the virtue of patience:
- If the Cubs won every game, we would have a world filled with arrogant people who “want it now”…cough, cough, White Sox and Cardinal fans. But instead, the frequent, and very sad losses the Cubs encounter, have taught fans how to work for what they want.
We have the best energy in and outside of the park:
- The atmosphere of Wrigley Field is indescribable. Everyone is welcomed by the friendly and energetic vibes. Outside of Wrigley, the community thrives. There are bars, restaurants, and shops that are the center of pregame festivities. Wrigleyville participates in every game, providing an energetic atmosphere, waving their W flags. When entering the stadium you notice the highlights from the Cubs' history. The new scoreboards add to the atmosphere of the stadium. We cannot forget however the incredible red sign welcoming us into the park and the ivy in the outfield. Wrigley is not the best stadium but the Cubs fans make it famous. The Cubbie atmosphere enhances the tradition of an incredible organization.
Cubs fans know how to have fun:
- Knowing where the local bars are is a Cubs fan specialty. Cubs fans are beer-drinking, peanut-eating, and seventh inning stretch-singing, phenomenal individuals.
We have to be optimistic or we would always be disappointed:
- After a while the disappointment of the Cubs performance fades. However, I have found over time that when you think the Cubs will breakthrough and perform better…they will not. But this also teaches us a second great life lesson, the lesson of being optimistic. So remember not to be completely disappointed because eventually it gets tiring. But see, this is why Cubs fans are the best, and most loyal fans in baseball.
We always have next year:
- This common Chicago Cubs saying is very repetitive, and so is, “This is our year.” The Cubs will eventually live up to this expectation, and when they do, I will be happy to say that I was there the whole way. Watching, watching, crying, watching, being disappointed, and finally, cheering.
Most importantly...we know how to root for a team with hotties:
The Chicago Cubs fans are the best because they have energy, an amazing park, optimism, and most importantly, loyalty. We are the fans that buy season tickets even after the Cubs play a season with many more losses than wins. Or the fans that go to every game with the attitude that we will win even if we are playing a team that already won the first two games in the series. We are loyal fans who will forever represent the Cubbie blue.
