Jimmy was a sweet kid rolled from the finest dough. Some would say he was too sweet and that's why he had to go. Jimmy was made of about:

3 cups of flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup/2 sticks unsalted butter- softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg - cold

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp lemon extract

The baker that had brought Jimmy to life spent a long time making him.

He mixed the dry ingredients and then the wet ones.

Then he made the fine dough Jimmy came from by mixing them together.

When Jimmy was found, the murder weapon, a tooth pick, was found next to him. There were no signs of a forced entry, the oven was found on at about 325*, and there were a couple of shredded papers hinting to a time in the oven for 12-15 minutes.

The suspects we have in the murder of Jimmy are Santa Clause, Cookie Monster, and the baker's wife. Santa's alibi was that he was delivering presents to the children of the world. Cookie Monster said he would never eat raw dough. "That's not cookies." the baker's wife said that she was busy cleaning the house.

So who killed Jimmy the cookie?

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
