How To Cruise The Right Way

I like big boats and I cannot lie.

How To Cruise The Right Way

Every year I am blessed enough to go on a cruise with my boyfriend and his amazing family (currently on one right now). After just one year I feel like I already have cruising down. I mean why not cruise? You get to go to multiple different ports, not have a gas bill, and it's pretty much all inclusive for the price if you would have just flown to one place for a weekend. So here's my little information on how to cruise.

1. EAT

Eat everything. Order one of everything at dinner. I mean you already paid for it, so why not? The pizza is to die for. Eat as much of it as you can because OMG it is so so so so good. Also, don't forget to fill up on ice cream! If you find yourself hungry on a cruise you are most definitely doing it wrong!

2. Unpack

Always unpack your luggage on the boat. No one likes to constantly have to pull their suitcase out and those rooms are super tiny. So just go ahead and unpack it all to save yourself time! I know you are probably thinking I packed way too much for this, well if you read my previous article then I feel you, but just do it.

3. Get some sun!

Why go on a cruise and not come back tan? Don't say you are too pale, my ginger niece tans! Just take some time and hang out on the dock and maybe even take a nap.

4. Don't spend a ton of money on a fancy room.

Why in the world would you spend so much more money for a balcony or a window? I hardly spend anytime in my room on the boat. I want to be outside doing something or eating something. Save the money for something else.

5. Entertainment

You literally always have something to do on the boat. The options are endless. You can swim, play on the waterslides, there's put put golf, comedy shows (my personal favorite), there are game shows, an arcade, the list is endless!

6. Service

The service is amazing. You can order room service and it will be there within a blink of an eye. Everyone is so polite and willing to help. The $12 you pay in tips a day is totally worth every single penny.

7. Who needs WIFI?

Personally, I don't care to pay for the WIFI on the boat. You are there for a vacation so put your phone away and enjoy yourself. It is so peaceful to just be able to leave your phone in the room and not worry about it. If you are worried about telling the time, buy a watch. (if you have small kids at home then that's a different story.)

8. Excursions

Book at least one excursion during your vacation and you will be set! Do more if you can afford it, but it is not something to stress about having to pay for. Most places you cruise to have beautiful beaches so just lay out and enjoy yourself. Play in the water and get a tan. Snorkeling is always a good go to excursion though.

9. Relax

Days at sea just relax and enjoy yourself. Sleep in. You have nothing to do and it's like you can just go somewhere else (you are stuck on that boat).

10. EAT

Eat some more. I mean let's be real, they have 24 hours of pizza and ice cream. Eat all you can. Yes, you did diet to look good for the cruise. You made it. Have a week of cheat days. No one is judging. Double fist those cones.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
