10 Places in the U.S. that should be on Every Millennial's bucket List

Traveling is something that everyone wants to do, no matter your age, financial bracket, or education level. The ever present need to see some place new connects us all. So lets ignite your wanderlust as we look at some pretty amazing places in the great U. S. of A.

10. Charleston, South Carolina

This is the land of Spanish moss and rich history. Everywhere you walk, you feel like you are put back to the time of antebellum homes, horse drawn carriages, and the echos of the Civil War.

9. Branson, Missouri

Branson has tons of fun stuff to do, you can walk along the river, go to Silver Dollar City to ride roller-coasters, or go to Dolly Parton's Stampede to enjoy an amazing dinner and show. The city is full of live music and shows, its fun for everyone!

8. Arches National Park, Utah

Personal Photo

Arches National Park is breathtakingly beautiful, these sandstone rock formations are great fun for the avid hikers, bikers, and those who just love seeing Gods amazing creation.

7. Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a beautiful island, but in Old San Juan, you get a glimpse at the rich lives the Puerto Rican people live. From the gorgeous colors of the buildings to beautiful ocean view, you cant get much better than this city. (And yes Puerto Rico is indeed a US territory!).

6. Mesa Verde, Colorado

Visit Mesa Verde, where you can see what life was like for cliff dwellers approximately 600 years ago. With the help of a guide you will be able to climb around the Cliff Palace and gaze at the beautiful view of the land surrounding this ancient wonderland.

5. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Personal Photo

If you love mountains and hiking, the Tetons is a great place to be. With an elevation of 13,770 feet, you will definitely feel like you are on top of the world. The striking beauty of these mountains is a view you wont likely forget.

4. Chicago, Illinois

Personal Photo

Chicago is complete with Navy Pier, Sears Tower, The Bean, and many more beautiful attractions. Navy Pier is a great place to grab lunch before heading over to take pictures with The Bean, then popping into Sears tower to see the city from a birds eye view. Finish your day off by eating dinner on the pier, maybe buying a souvenir and then watching the fireworks over Lake Michigan.

3. Nashville, Tennessee

Personal Photo

Nashville is perfect for the whole family, take a stroll in centenial park where you will see a replica of the Parthenon, then pop over to Rymen auditorium to learn about the history of the city and then finally finish off your day partying and eating on Broadway Street. This city is perfect for you, your parents, your little siblings. Everyone will have fun in Nashville

2. Silverton, Colorado

Personal Photo

This is my favorite place on planet earth, if you are a camping or hiking enthusiast, this is the place for you! You can spend your nights camping at elevations as high as 13,487 feet and spend your days riding your four-wheeler all around the mountain. Enjoy shopping in the small mining town and visit historic museums to learn about the history. The Durango-Silverton vintage steam train will take you right into town and you might even see one of the young moose that were born there last year.

1. Yellowstone National Park

Personal Photo

While it is famous for its geysers and springs, Yellowstone is easily the most beautiful place in the USA, its complete with insanely gorgeous mountains, beautiful herds of buffalo, and extremely interesting geysers. (Word to the wise, do not try and take a picture with a buffalo... You will get trampled.)

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
