As the end of the semester approaches, students begin to stress (myself included) and it feels like impending doom is coming. I feel paranoid about everything, just like Creed in the office. Yes, he's weird, but looking back at some episodes, I realized he's a lot like I feel right now: always on edge, nervous, paranoid, and kind of mysterious.
1. When you first see your average after the last exam before the final
Honestly, this is one of the scariest things, because it could go really well or really bad.
2. Calculating what grade you need on the final for an "A" in the course
Knowing you're going home for the summer or you're going to receive a call from your parents asking about your grades is tough.
3. Realizing that you procrastinated because you didn't really care
Sometime between midterms and now, I really stopped caring. Sad, but true. Okay, so I may actually still care, but not as much as before.
4. Considering selling illegal substances to pay your payment plan
Realizing that you need to pick up a second job to pay for school and next semester if you want to afford to go to school. I also would never actually do it, but I would be lying if I said I never considered it.
5. Stealing office supplies from your student job because you technically paid for them and you need a pencil
At this point, all the pens, pencils, and highlighters I've bought have been lost, borrowed, or stolen. All I have is the office to provide me with supplies.
6. When your roommate asks if you're going to class
You're sitting on your couch and you are debating going to class or not. You have the study guide, a decent enough grade, and attendance isn't mandatory. Should I go? I don't know.
7. When you see your grade and the professor says "Some of y'all are barely passing as it is"
I know it's against FERPA, but just @ me bro, because we both know.
8. When the kid who gets straight As complains about their Bs
The test was a pain, the class average was a "D" and the smart kid says, "Wow, I did so bad. I got a B-."
