Create Your Own Chances.

Believe it or not, it's possible.

Create Your Own Chances.

Believe it or not, we can create our own chances in this world. This world is full of things that are out of our hands or things we cannot help, but what about the things we can help?

Who's stopping us from creating our own chances of our goals? Who's stopping us from creating or building up friendships, relationships, etc? Nobody but ourselves is the answer.

I know a lot of us, including myself, have always wanted different things or prayed about different situations to happen. This prayer might sound familiar to your lives: "God, please put me in a situation to bless someone or help someone or be useful.". Who's stopping us from doing that ourselves, though? God is Almighty and can most definitely grant us some of those prayer requests, but why can't we start it ourselves as well? Just one simple kind word or gesture can make a difference in someone's life. Why can't we create our own chance to be a vessel in someone's life or situation?

It's really something to think about. Some of the things stopping us truly hold us back from making a difference. We just have to be conscious and aware of the world around us and be thinking about what we can do to make a change, no matter how big or small.

Spread kindness y'all. Pay attention to what's around you and who's around you.

And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
