The idea of a bucket list may sound cliché and inconsequential to some people out there, but I'm here to tell you otherwise.
For anyone who doesn't know, a "bucket list" is a list of accomplishments and experiences you want to have completed by the time you are on your deathbed.
Honestly, this sounds pretty morbid and depressing. Most people do not enjoy thinking about their death. So, I have modified the meaning of a bucket list.
I have broken down the concept of a bucket list into two categories: Long-Term Goals, and Short-Term Goals.
Having these two lists makes accomplishing these goals a little easier. Having a short-term list helps with actually accomplishing each goal you set for yourself, and having a long-term list helps you envision your future while consciously taking steps to accomplish each goal.
When you actually accomplish your goal, make sure you mark it in some special way!
You can cross through it, put a star next to it, or whatever you want. Just make sure you let yourself know that you are making strides towards the future you want.
The items on your bucket list also do not have to be goals for your personal betterment. The goals you set for yourself can also be fun! Like places you want to visit, concerts you wanna see, and foods you want to eat. Your bucket list can really be made up of anything you want!
I have provided an example of my lists below. I created this list when I was a junior in high school. I have actually accomplished so much that I had to recently add more on to both lists!
