Every day has a reason to celebrate! Just about every day of the year has been named a national holiday if not multiple. Here are some of the sillier holidays for the month of November.

Nov 1st: National Cook For Your Pets Day

Man's best friends have always been there for us, and it's time we show our appreciation by cooking them up something special.

Nov 2nd: National Deviled Egg Day

Nov 3rd: National Men Make Dinner Day

This holiday is for the men who don't cook on a regular basis. It's a time for them to get in that kitchen and make something for their loved ones. And sorry guys, BBQ does not count.

Nov 4th: National Stress Awareness Day/ National Candy Day

As if you weren't stressed enough, there is a whole day to make you aware of it! On another note, You can take that edge off with some sweet treats as it's also National Candy Day.

Nov 5th: National Love Your Red Hair Day/ National Doughnut Day

To cover all bases, here is a red head eating a doughnut:

Nov 7th: National Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day

Nov 8th: National Cappuccino Day

For some of us, Cappuccino Day is everyday, but it's nice to have a specific day to concentrate all that love on.

For anyone, like myself, who has no idea what Scrapple is, it is some type of a mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal, wheat flour and spices and is arguably the first pork food invented in America.

Here is your excuse to go get some ice cream!


Nov 12th: National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day

Anchovy lovers beware, this is not your day! Though the rules seem pretty specific, who cares if you get to eat pizza, right?

Nov 13th: National Indian Pudding Day

Nov 14th: National Pickle Day

Bread and Butter, Chips, Dill, or Gherkin. Pick your pickle!

Nov 15th: National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day

Nov 16th: National Button Day/ National Fast Food Day

Here's to all those extra buttons you get with new clothes that you end up losing before you need them and then finding again long after you've gotten rid of the garment.

It's also National Fast Food Day, as if we didn't already eat it enough.

Nov 17th: National Take A Hike Day

Nov 18th: Mickey Mouse's Birthday

This year that fun loving mouse will be 88 years old.

Nov 19th: National Play Monopoly Day/ National Carbonated Beverage With Caffeine Day

Today's the day to drink your soda while you play a competitive game of Monopoly with your friends!

Nov 20th: National Absurdity Day/ National Peanut Butter Fudge Day

National Absurdity Day is a day to do whatever crazy things come to mind whether they make any since or not.

You should also cook up a big 'ol batch of peanut butter fudge!

Nov 21st: National Stuffing Day

Nov 24th: National Sardines Day

Not one of the more appetizing days, but sardines are a great source of vitamins and minerals including B vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids.

24 hours is too little time to enjoy so much great cake!

Nov 28th: National French Toast Day

Nov 29th: National Electronic Greetings Day

Almost gone are the days of hand written letters. This day celebrates one of our many technological advancements.

Nov 30th: National Stay Home Because You're Well Day

Everyone deserves a nice day to theirselves. This day has no rules, except spending a healthful and relaxing day at home.
