Okay, so if you are a true Michigander, you know that our state has some crazy weather. CRAY-Z. I have lived in this state my entire life, so I'm used to it, but it doesn't mean it still doesn't make me question what is happening when it's 60 degrees one day and snowing the next (not an exaggeration).
I guess Michigan just likes to spice things up and keep us on our toes, and make us pack an umbrella, short sleeve shirt, and a winter coat on hand just in case. We will never truly know why Michigan weather is like it is (I'm sure there's some scientific reason but that's not as fun), so here's what I think Michigan is thinking as we head into our second winter/mud season:
1. "I have to make sure that these people don't get too comfortable"
Don't worry, Michigan, we are always on the lookout for your next clever move. Rain? Sunshine? Blizzard? Who knows.
2. "Maybe if I make it a white-out people will stop driving like idiots."
lol you thought
3. "I'll throw in a warm day here and there to give them hope for spring--maybe go take a dip in a pothole. HA. Psych!"
GOOD ONE.
4. "Man, I'm such a generous state. Instead of only one season at once, these people get all 4 at random times."
Truly a miracle.
5. "It's my signature move... I can't disappoint by changing my ways."
You're right... you would throw us for a loop if it was any other way.
Don't get me wrong. I love my state! The fresh water, the forests, the beaches, the farm fields, the cities, we really have it all. Plus, we get to have all the seasons (even though some last longer than we'd like and some come at very inopportune times *cough cough* winter *cough cough*) But hey, it's our state and we will get through it together.
