15 Things You Say When You Are A Crazy Cat Couple

My partner and I are the parents of two adorable and precious fur-babies, and these are some common utterances around our household.

1. "Why couldn't you sleep last night?" "They took turns licking the eyeliner off of my eyes."

2. Picks up urine-drenched backpack "I'm so blessed by these wondrous creatures."

3. "What was that sound?" "He's a born killer; don't question his ways."

4. In non sequitur response to anything: "Well, they are the babies."

5. "Where's the baby? He needs snuggles."

6. Cat struggles in your arms "He loves me."

7. Cat does something cute and sweet "AAWWWHEJUSTNUZZLEDMEANDMADETHESWEETESTLITTLEFACECOMEHEREQUICK!"

8. "What are they doing now?" "Sounds like kitty WWE."

9. When they want too much attention: "Where's mommy? Go see mommy."

10. Wakes up to find the mangled baby mouse on the bed "I'm so blessed by these wondrous creatures."

11. Cat walks on keyboard "Yes, that's what I meant to write, thank you. I'm sure my professors will appreciate this."

12. Cat gets stuck somewhere ridiculous "How did he get in there?!" "He's talented."

13. "Why are they being little freaks right now?" "They're the babies, daddy."

14. Puts on work shoes with puke inside them "I'm so done with these wondrous creatures."

15. "I love our little idiots."

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

6. But, now you're tired.

7. And really hungry.

8. Suddenly, it's 2 a.m. and you have only written three sentences and your paper is due in the morning.

9. You've made it to Friday... somehow.

10. Then Sunday hits and you find yourself back at the Lib.

11. So you cry some more.

12. But, you fight through the tears to get everything done because you're determined.

13. In the end, you feel on top of the world because you made it through the last week of class alive.

14. But, now it's finals week so good luck.
