COVID-Friendly Fall Activities

Obviously it’s fall during a pandemic but there’s still things to do to have fun.

Do:

Winery/Brewery/Cidery:

If you're over 21 these places are great and COVID-friendly. Pick a few for a flight and then get a bottle of your favorite to share with your best friends at a socially distanced table.

Pumpkin Patch:

A pumpkin patch is a fun place to go and you can wear your mask the whole time while still being able to enjoy time with your friends. Bonus if the place has a corn maze!

What can be skipped:

Hay ride:

More contained and close to people you don't know.

Haunted House:

Confined area where a lot of screaming occurs. A lot of people traveling on the same path not the best idea!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
