From the time that we were little, we were close. You were the one who I would play and run around with for hours at family gatherings. I consider you not to only be my cousin but one of my best friends. As we got older we only got closer, you started to be the person who I would look for a party, someone to sit down and talk to about our crazy family and about everything going on in our lives. We have faced so much together. We visited our grandma in the hospital and in hospice watching them slowly slip away from us and trying to hold back our own tears. We consoled each other through it and when the time came that she was finally gone, we mourned together and remembered the good times that we shared with her. We carried that grief for so long and never really knew what to do with it but with time it became easier, a big part of it for me was having you by my side through it all. We became even closer because of it. Watching our uncle go was hard too but we had each other. You are always someone that I know that I can count on for anything. I have your back and I know you have mine. I am so incredibly proud of everything that you have accomplished and I know that you will do great things.

Thank you for being someone that I can cry, laugh, and joke with. For being the one that we can just have a look between us and immediately start laughing. I am so incredibly lucky to be able to call you my cousin, I am glad that you are here with me to go through it all and to be there with a hug and a smile. You have gotten me through some pretty tough times in my life and I thank you for that. You are the reason that I like going to family gatherings because I get to see you and I get to talk to you about life. I cherish the times we see each other because they are so far and in-between but it just makes them even more special.

I am so proud of the person that you have become. I hope you know that. Be proud of the amazing, caring, funny, and loving person that you are!

Thank you for being my cousin and more importantly thank you for being my friend.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
