Rupi Kaur is writer, illustrator and poet. Most known by her book Milk and Honey, which is a collection of her poems and illustrations. She recently has released her second book of poems titles, The Sun and Her Flowers. Her poems deal with love, heartbreak, mothers, life, self love, abuse, sex etc. It is through her poetry style and the vulnerability that has allowed thousands of people to relate with her words.

I have found a certain comfort in reading her poems, one that I had never shared with another poet before. Here are some of her poems that have given me comfort, put a smile on my face, made me feel nostalgia, or just had a way to move me.

I highly encourage you too look her up and read Milk and Honey. I promise that you will not regret it. Even if your are not the biggest fan of poetry I still urge you to give it a chance. You never know unless you try.
