Country music is oftentimes associated with summertime due to the positive vibes it always brings with it. Driving with the windows down as the sun shines on the pavement makes for the ideal setting for a country song to blast through the speakers. It seems as though we hear country music more during the summer than any other season, and the reasons behind that idea make perfect sense. Country music is all about living in the moment, finding love, or enjoying wherever you are. Country music instantly puts most, but not all, music listeners into a good mood with its upbeat tunes. A large number of country songs also find a common theme: summertime. The 5 following songs are perfect for your summer music playlist.

"All To Myself" by Dan + Shay

Any song on Dan + Shay's most recent album is a hit, but this one, in particular, is a huge mood booster. The cool beat of "All To Myself" is perfect for a sunny drive across the city with friends, or even by yourself. The song recounts chasing love and making memories along the way.

"The Bones" by Maren Morris

Maren Morris's new album, GIRL, just debuted this summer. "The Bones" is one of her first singles from the album, and it has already become a favorite of mine. This soulful song details a long-term relationship that is strong enough to overcome any obstacle in the way, providing hope and positive for all country music listeners.

"Love Someone" by Brett Eldredge

This song is almost guaranteed to make you dance. Brett Eldredge's "Love Someone" even features a music video with Brett and his adorable dog, Edgar.
