1. Kane Brown

Over the last few months, Kane Brown has relentlessly teased his fans with his upcoming music by releasing song previews on his Twitter. Song previews include previews for "Homesick" and "One Night Only." While fans have only gotten a taste of these two, Brown has released one new single titled "Lose It" that will be included on his next album. The 24-year-old Georgia native announced that this anticipated album will drop November 9, 2018.

2. Florida Georgia Line

After releasing "Cruise" in 2012, the Florida Georgia Line duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard has had a multitude of chart-toppers, giving them the stardom they once dreamed of. In 2019, this duo will be one to watch out for again as they are scheduled to release yet another album. Three songs titled "Simple," "Colorado," and "Talk You Out Of It" have been released already and are anticipated to be on the upcoming album.

3. Lauren Duski

Lauren Duski, the Season 12 Runner-Up on NBC's "The Voice," has made her way into the country music charts, as she recently released her first singled titled "Costume Party." The single is raw and full of heart, including lyrics "And what if I could show my flaws and not be sorry?/ Cause I'm over this whole costume party." With her first single having the success it has, there is no doubt that Duski will be one to shine in the near future.

4. Raelynn

Another contestant of NBC's "The Voice," Raelynn has made her way into the country music charts. Raelynn is famously known by country music fans for her singles "Love Triangle," "Queens Don't," and "God Made Girls." As of July 20, 2018, Raelynn is back and releasing music once again, as she released a new single titled "Tailgate." And with every new single means something country music fans can only hope... perhaps a new album in the distant future? Only time will tell.

5. Kacey Musgraves

From TV to Tennessee seems to be a popular story among many music artists these days. Singer and songwriter Kacey Musgraves first made her debut when she entered USA Network's singing competition "Nashville Star." Since then, Musgraves has made her way to fame with her most popular song "Follow Your Arrow" where she sings about staying true to yourself. Musgraves is still rising in fame and has announced as of July 16, 2018, that she will be going on tour. The tour is titled "Oh, What a World" and kicks off in Indianapolis on January 9, 2019.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
