Do not take for granted what life has given you!

I have been very blessed in my life. I have wonderful friends, an amazing family, and a wonderful life. I have been given many opportunities in life that I am very fortunate to have been given. But, I haven’t always been thankful for them like I should have been. So many people don’t even have a warm home to go to. I have taken for granted everything that life has given me.

I’ve decided to stop being ungrateful, and to start thanking God for every day that He has given me. I have so much to live for and to aspire to attain, and it is about time to be appreciative. I am able to go to college, which many people are not. I have been given the opportunity to go to school to educate children. I have been given the chance to write for a wonderful publication that I strongly and completely believe in and love. I am blessed beyond compare.

From now on, I am going to be appreciative of what life has given me. I am going to go on more adventures. I am going to start spending more time with my family. I am going to spend every day of my life being grateful and happy. Most people would kill for what I have in life and it is about time that I realize that.

I can’t thank my family enough for loving me. And I can’t thank my friends enough for always being there for me. From now on, I am going to work hard to make the people in my life as happy as they have made me. I am going to stop and count my blessings and be happy with the life I have. I have a roof over my head, loving people surrounding me, amazing opportunities, and a lifetime of happiness to enjoy. All I ask is that the people in my life give me time to truly be the best that I can be. I am going to make you all proud, just you wait.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
