Yesterday, January 20th, marked the day that Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States, but if you were like me, you may have been partially distracted by something else: the realization that the Obamas would be leaving.
I mean, I knew it was coming, but I still wasn't prepared for it. I mean...
But it's okay. I have a way that I'm coping with it. And I'd like to share that mechanism with you. So, without further ado, here's how I'm coping with Obama leaving office.
Firstly, it is important that I try NOT to think about all of the inspiring things that Obama said during his time with us.
And after I'm done NOT thinking about that, I'm NOT going to cry.
And cry.
And cry some more.
In the midst of all of that NOT crying over inspiring Obama quotes, I'll get something to eat.
And then maybe NOT cry some more.
I'll miss you, President Obama.
