If you are a student at Murray State University like myself, you have most likely experienced Cookout on more than one occasion. If you haven't, you are missing out. Cookout is perfect for college towns... Here's why:

1. Five dollar Cookout Trays.

When you're in college the budget is tight. For just five bucks, you can get a burger, fries, nuggets, and a huge sweet tea and be satisfied for lunch and dinner.

2. The milkshake options are endless.

For just two bucks and some change, you can grab yourself a strawberry cheesecake milkshake...Who doesn't love milkshakes?

3. They're open until 3 a.m.

I commend the workers that have to work the late shift. They've seen it all. Don't lie, if you're a student at MSU, you've been to cookout at late hours of the night.

4. The food is actually good.

My cheeseburger isn't dripping grease when I eat it, so I feel better about myself when I eat at Cookout instead of Mcdonald's.

5. They have something for everyone.

You can customize your Cookout Tray to suit you. If you aren't feeling a burger that day, there are plenty of other options to choose from for the same price.

6. Huge sweet tea.

It's not just a large sweet tea, it's a huge sweet tea. And it's great.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
