Contentedness.
I am content here, outside, as day flows into night
Yes, I am content
I look around and I see Your grace
Your all-consuming Presence surrounds me
Your peace fills me like never before
It is unique to be in this state of tranquility
No striving, no pressing thoughts, no lessons to teach or things to do…
I am simply here in this moment
I am here, with You
Here I am with the Great I Am
And here He is with me
Your goodness astonishes me, I gaze upon Your work
The fluff of a dandelion floats by, the breeze tousles my hair
Here is my place of contentedness
The trees quiver, the leaves shake
They whisper Your attributes to me
Here is my sacred place, it is here I worship thee
The radiance of this day fades quietly to deep orange
Shadows now stretch across the land
In the beauty of a day now done
I see Your glorious hand
Your crown of jewels are the stars in the sky
Your robe a royal sunset
Here is my place of worship, here I will raise my hands
Though the leaves fall around me
My eyes are lifted to You
For You are sustainer of all
It is You who holds the world together
And it is You who holds my heart
