Taking them out before you sleep...or regretting it in the morning
It's so easy to drift asleep at night while you're lying in bed on your phone or reading a book. Unfortunately, you can't fully relax with the knowledge that if you don't get up and remove your lenses, you're going to be starting the next day of on a bad foot. Working up the motivation to take the first step is always the hardest, but I have never once regretted the decision to take it.
Having eye drops on hand for the late nights

With a bottle of eye-drops on hand, you can quickly get back to work without any of the bleary-eyed blinking. If you have no reason to be staying up so late, getting dry eyes can be a good sign to let you know that it's time to go to bed.
Wearing goggles or closing eyes underwater
When water enters the eye, it can easily displace the contact from its position on your eye, causing your vision to blur. Even worse, if the eyes are opened underwater, the contact can drift away. Unless you want to avoid going into the water altogether or you're willing to take a risk, you need to find a method that works best for you to prevent the water getting into your eyes.
Stressing about lack of sanitation
There's nothing worse than the paranoia that comes when you're forced to insert or remove your contacts with unwashed hands. Not only are you potentially accumulating debris on your lenses, but you're also exposing your eyes to all of the germs on your hands. You try your best to be diligent about washing your hands, but sometimes there's no bathroom around and you need to remove your contacts as soon as possible.
The awe of peripheral vision
It's no secret that contacts are much higher maintenance than glasses are, but there's nothing quite like putting yours in for the first time and falling in love with your peripheral vision all over again, not worrying about them falling off when running, and having them stay free of fog and rain. None of the contact drawbacks could entice you to give these freedoms up.
