With nearly 20 million visitors per year, the Disney Resorts are the most popular theme parks in the entire world. They have world famous rides like Space Mountain and It's a Small World. But even at the happiest place on earth, not everything is rainbows and sprinkles all the time. Here are 8 conspiracy theories about the Disney Parks!
1. A spirit of a little boy haunts the Haunted Mansion in Orlando.
Cast members have said that they have heard his laughter after hours, and have heard him mimicking the characters from the ride.
2. The spirit of a former employee haunts Space Mountain in Anaheim.
A man died while building Space Mountain, and an employee claims that he will sometimes ride next to people and "fall off".
3. A ghost haunts the People Mover in Orlando.
Apparently, a child died when he tried to jump from car to car on this moving ride. Employees claim that his spirit haunts the ride's stockroom, and will open up emergency exit doors on the locked platforms.
4. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Orlando is haunted by a ghost named George.
If employees don't say good morning and good night to George, they allegedly experience problems with the ride.
5. The Tower of Terror in Orlando is haunted by the ghost of an employee.
Said employee died of a heart attack while loading guests onto the ride, and now haunts Platform D, which employees refer to as the "spooky spot".
6. Walt Disney haunts his apartment on Main Street in Disneyland.
While cleaning the apartment after Walt Disney died, an employee said they saw the lamp in the window turn on by itself. People have even seen the curtains moving. Now, the park in Anaheim keeps the lamp on in memory of Walt.
7. The children in the ride, It's A Small World, in Anaheim come to life when they are unplugged.
Employees say that they will see the characters move or blink, even after the ride is turned off and unplugged. Sometimes, the dolls will be in a different country than the one they belong in.
8. And finally, many people believe that Walt Disney would use Club 33 for Illuminati meetings.
Although many people knew he used Club 33 to host private events, Walt Disney apparently used this exclusive restaurant to host meetings for the Freemasons, which is believed to be run by the Illuminati.
