I am still waiting for my answer...

What does "Make America Great Again" mean?

While perusing this site I fell upon an article mentioning why Obama failed Millennials

Let me correct your ignorant thoughts, so unconventional

You want your friend to be pardoned for a misdemeanor, yet my people are incarcerated for life

And continue to be deprived of these basic unaleniable rights

You say the country was divided under Obama yet this country is more divided than ever

But I assume racism and the deprivation of human rights is supposed to bring us together

You say you are outnumbered because you support good ole boy Trump

Welcome to my world being a woman, African American, and living in a dump

He did what he could with opposition from your party at every opportunity

Yet on the first day of Presidency civil rights, LGBT, and environmental issues were removed from the White House in the name of democracy

His ideas which were not very clear from the beginning

Are making their debut all of them quite disturbing

You are male and making a dollar to my sixty-three cents (the amount a Black woman makes)

And will never know what it feels like to have to choose between raising your child while trying to pay the rent

You see because it's okay for a man to have been acting on impulse when a woman is taken advantage of

But when a woman makes a decision over what to do with her body a man wants to tell her that is enough

You mentioned something about freedom, which is interesting

Now I look forward to waking up everyday seeing what privilege was taken away from me

It baffles me how someone who has so much to say is a coward in the face of the media

And then puts on his best performance in front of the same audience he is afraid of

So if you think our generation was failed sit back and wait

I'm sure you heard that there will be some changes to your mortgage rates

And while I do not promote the violence that is ensuing

Let us rise up to defeat the malevolent ideals your great Trump is pursuing

You must forget that unless you are Native American you are also included in the category of "immigrant"

But what do I know my ancestors were chained to a ship and considered property to pick cotton

It must be nice to track your ancestors or to know where they originate

When my ancestors and I still have the surnames of our masters still to date

You want to complain about what hasn't been done for you when you have lived a life of privilege

While the homelessness and hunger still, always has, and will continue to exist

He would not have been relevant anymore if the 6 million people who are over incarcerated would have been able to vote

So they exist in this country, voiceless without any hope

Or what about the underprivileged people who do not trust the government for obvious reasons

So they choose not to voice their opinions and and stop believing

You think your President will care about the before mentioned issues when each day he revokes a statute attempted to make this country better?

Terrorism is the "unlawful use of violence and intimidation, against civilians in the pursuit of political, religious, or other means"

Doesn't that sound similar the overall theme your current President's dream

But I'm sure you condone preventing innocent refugees and immigrants from partaking in the American dream

They are terrorists and you have to protect your precious land against those who threaten it

When in reality there is one running the country

I refuse to sit back while those who have won want to complain about someone who could not have possibly corrected all of the ills of this country

So congratulations on your great achievement

America and the anarchy at hand thank you

Your fellow Millennials thank you and I hope your President makes you regret your decision.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
