Although I was too young to fully appreciate it, the 2004 classic, "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," is actually a perfect representation of my life. Twelve years later, and I still feel like this movie truly gets me as a person. Thanks, Lola, for showing me it's OK to be a witty, sarcastic and somewhat dramatic chick in today's society.
1. How I feel when my parents embarrass me.
Ugh, seriously? What did I do to deserve this?
2. When the person I'm arguing with finally gives up.
With the perfect combination of sass and sarcasm, winning an argument is easy-peasy.
3. When I get super hangry.
You do not want to mess with me when I haven't eaten in more than three hours.
4. What I want to yell at my professor when I get a B instead of an A.
You're not only destroying my GPA, you're also destroying my soul.
5. When my mom gets sad because I have to go back to college.
Mom, don't you know I'm an adult? But also, do you mind if I take some of this toilet paper back to school with me?
6. How I feel when my extended family starts asking about my post-college plans.
Can we please talk about something else besides my dreary future?
7. When people get mad at me for being dramatic.
Sorry, it's just part of my personality. Love it or leave it.
