Hi, I’m Travis and I’m addicted to Fan fiction.

Fan fiction is fiction about characters or settings from an original work of fiction like Harry Potter, or real people, like the U.S. Olympic Swimming team, created by fans of that work rather than by its creator. If you want more info on fan fiction, you can check out the Wikipedia article on it.

I can tell you that I read stories about Teen Wolf when I don’t even watch the show.

I’ve met people that write fanfiction and I even write fanfiction (not lately though…#CollegeLife) and don’t even think about asking for my pen names.

I’m on just about every fanfiction site: fanfiction.net, archiveofourown.org (AO3), Wattpad and even more.

In all honesty, I’d much rather stare at my phone for an hour than carry on a conversation with you.

I will read fanfiction on just about every topic. From something that builds off of cannon, nothing is changed from the universe of the show, all the way to Mpreg, male pregnancy, and alternate universes (AU).

I don't care if it's realistic or not, it provides me an escape from the real world. Being someone who stresses out over nothing, you need an escape, and Fanfiction is mine.

6. You were always the first to leave your group of friends when hanging out.

7. If you say you will be home at a certain time, you better be home at that time.

8. Seeing a missed call from your parents sends fear and horror through your veins.

9. If relatives are coming over to the house, your room better be clean.

10. You are careful about what jokes you share with your parents.

11. "You’re not an adult until you turn 18! You can do whatever you want then!"

12. If plans change while you’re out, you better text or call.

13. Don’t talk back. Ever.

14. When you’re called by your full name, you’re in deep trouble.

15. Don’t make them call your name twice.

16. Sleepovers are not a thing.
