Many of us have acquired a strong love for coffee while in college. We rank our favorite brands, flavors, and drinks but Dunkin' will always have a special place in our caffeinated hearts.

Here are eight signs that you are addicted to Dunkin':

1. The App Knows Your Recent Locations

When using the On-the-Go ordering, your recent Dunkin' locations are listed. Anyone who saw my Dunkin' App would be able to tell where I was during Winter Break because of all the recent pit-stops. What can I say? I run on Dunkin'.

2. Workers Know Your On-the-Go Order

Workers begin recognizing your name on the pink receipt, and memorize your order. They seem confused when you order something different than the previous visit.

3. Gift Cards as Presents

Family members are starting to realize that you always show up to events with the orange straw sticking out from an iced coffee. Friends see the daily Snapchat Stories of your Dunkin' cup, and it becomes clear what the best gift for you really is...a Dunkin' Donuts gift card! I personally, received three gift cards and two packs of Dunkin' K-Cups this holiday. It is the best way to spread the cheer and energy!

4. Wake Up and Check the App

The first thing a true fan does in the morning is check their app for coupons. It is like waking up on Christmas morning to find a 50 cent deal or 50 bonus points waiting for you.

5. Anger When the Deal Doesn't Work

There is such a feeling of betrayal when you pull up to your favorite store, and realize that the discounted price did not go through. When $2.59 appears on the bottom of the receipt and not the promised $0.53 (with tax of course) for the Flyers On-the-Go discount, you think about throwing the medium iced coffee out of your car window.

6. Sudden Interest in Local Sports

I am curious to see the statistics on how often non-sports fans Googled the Eagles' score this season versus previous years. I have never cared so much about the final score or when the Sixers or Flyers were having their next home game. (Sorry, Dad.)

7. Do It For the Bonus Points

200 bonus points earns customers a free beverage, and that is surprisingly not very hard to achieve. A few trips a week could earn a free beverage, or two, during the 100 bonus points offers. Dunkin' rewards make the $2.59 iced coffees worth every penny.

8. Group Outing

There have been many times when my friends decided to pack a carload, or two, to receive our free drink coupon. One of my roommates will plan our next Dunkin' outing and set timers in the morning so that we can go before class. Nothing bonds people together like caffeine.

9. Discussing Flavors

"Why do they not have peppermint mocha anymore?"

"I know! I am so sick of caramel."

Only frequent flyers can become sick of a flavor and complain about a seasonal swirl.

10. VIP

Lastly, a sure sign that you are a Dunkin' fan is the satisfaction you receive by walking into the store, skipping the long line, and grabbing your drink within one minute. Nothing says VIP like strolling in and not paying cash or credit (or interacting with a single person). I recommend saying "hello" and "thank you" to the workers, but everyone has their preferences.

Here's to all of the frequent Dunkin' drinkers:

may your cups always be full and your free beverage coupons present!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
