6 Ways Concerts Have Impacted My Life
My Camera Roll

Concerts hold one of the most important places in my heart, besides friends, family and my dog. Singing back to someone who thousands of people idolize is such an incredible feeling, especially if they are one of your favorite artists. Being in the same place as someone who holds such a special place in your heart is definitely, in my book, a life-changing experience. These musical havens are one of my favorite things in the entire wide world, and these are some of the reasons.

1. Concerts are a place filled with people who enjoy the exact same thing you do, for a lot of the same reasons.

Whether it be a bad time in your life that the band helped with, their cute faces or other various reasons, concerts are a place of happiness over the band who helped you with everything. You not only get to enjoy seeing the people who helped you through these rough times, but here the music live and in person!

2. Friendship Goals

If you're lucky enough to attend a concert with a best friend, it makes the experience all the more memorable and fun. You get to enjoy something you love with someone you love; what could be better?

3. Meeting New Friends

I've been to a few concerts, and at every single concert I have managed to meet so many lovely people, who I still to this day talk to and talk about. Not only are memories made with the people you came with, but they're made with the people you meet and the experiences you make with these new-found friends.

4. Memories Galore

For every concert I've been to, I've come away with a million stories to tell. These stories are ones I'll tell for years, to family, friends and even at future concerts of the same artists reminiscing about old times.

5. Artists Tidbits

Concerts are never boring, and no two concerts are the same. If you're in a friend group with people from all over (aka online friendships!) then you can all talk about your different concerts and how the artists differed from each and every one. From the clothes to the way the songs were sung to what they said about your city, or your weather if you're from Texas, since its always crazy hot!

6. Pure Concert Bliss.

For those three-ish hours, everything is taken away except blissful happiness in seeing the artist you love. No worries, no sadness, just music, love and happiness spread all around. You can forget your troubles and leave all your worries behind, because this paradise of music is for good vibes only.

Concerts are my happy place, and I wouldn't trade the memories I have from past concerts for the world. Going with my best friends and seeing the people who impacted our lives in such a massive way is such a wonderful thing. Being able to make signs and see the people who brought you through your rough and good times is honestly the best thing in the entire world.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
