10 Concerts Everyone Deserves To See In Their Lifetime

Throughout my life, I have been fortunate enough to see many amazing concerts. Here are some of my favorites that I think everyone should experience if they get the chance.

1. Billy Joel

Billy Joel was so amazing in concert because he was so different. I'm used to screaming teenage fangirls who cry when their idol comes out, but with Billy Joel it was just a chill, middle-aged crowd enjoying some good music. It was amazing to hear some of the most iconic songs of all time live.

2. Twenty-One Pilots

Even if you're not a Twenty-One Pilots fan, I would highly suggest seeing them in concert. The lights and production is mesmerizing and every single member of the audience knows every single word to every single song. It's quite impressive.

3. The Chainsmokers

Say what you want about The Chainsmokers, they put on a great show. They are extremely entertaining and you start to feel like you're in an alternate reality while you're there.

4. P!nk

P!nk is one of those artists that I don't necessarily listen to on my own, but whose songs are always on the radio. I didn't realize how many hits she had until I saw her live. She also flies in the air like a bird while performing some of her most popular songs which is amazing.

5. Macklemore

Everyone knows "Thrift Shop" or "Same Love", but Macklemore also has some amazing songs that aren't as popular. Seeing him in concert is so cool because all of his songs are so fun. Everyone is simply having a great time.

6. Taylor Swift

I saw Taylor Swift back in her "country" days, but I'd imagine her concerts to be just as phenomenal now. She's so personable and truly cares for all her fans which is amazing. You feel like you actually know her by the end of her show which is something you don't always get from a concert.

7. Maroon 5

Maroon 5 is another group that you just know all of their popular songs from the radio. The group was so entertaining to watch live and the whole crowd had so much fun. There's also something really special about hearing the songs that have constantly played throughout your life live.

8. One Direction

Obviously One Direction isn't together anymore, but we all know that there very well could be a reunion tour one day. One Direction concerts are awesome because everyone is so happy to be there.

Most people at a One Direction concert have been huge fans who have followed them through the beginning, so it really is a special moment for everyone.

9. The Jonas Brothers

Again, The Jonas Brothers are no longer a group, but we're all hoping for a reunion. This was one of my very first concerts, so that made it extra special. It was one of the first times that I really got to see some of my favorite artists right in front of my eyes which made it one of my favorite concerts to date.

10. Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood could possibly have the best vocals that I've ever heard. She's also extremely engaging with her crowd and treats her fans as her own family.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
