Who Provides Small Business Computer Support In New Jersey?

You know that finding the right partner is crucial to ensuring that your business is ready for action, but how can you find small business computer support that you can trust? From cost-effective services to 100% satisfaction guarantees, here are some of the standards that you should be looking for in your next IT solutions provider in the New Jersey area.

Small Business Computer Support When and How You Need It

There are some support organizations who are delightful to work with -- as long as you don't need them to come onsite to provide support for your team. Today's organizations need to know that their trusted IT support partner will not only provide remote support in the New Jersey area but be able to come onsite for quick resolution of challenging problems, too. Technology is changing at an alarming rate, and your staff may be having a difficult time keeping up. This makes it all too easy for someone to accidentally cause a problem that could cause ever-expanding ripples throughout your organization unless remediation begins immediately. Your small business computer support professionals must be nimble enough to help bring your systems back online in minutes or hours instead of weeks. With two-thirds of small businesses leaders self-reporting themselves as the primary IT support for their business, having a trusted technology partner is more important than ever before.

Getting the Right Team for Small Business Computer Support

According to a recent study, one of the top 10 causes of small business failure is the inability to get the right team in place. With nearly a quarter of small businesses failing due to staffing issues, finding the right IT solutions provider could easily mean the difference between business success and becoming a statistic. Your technology partner becomes an extension of your business team, helping develop long-term strategies, provide insight into the marketplace and your competitors, negotiating favorable pricing with vendors and even helping train staff members in avoiding the ever-present phishing scams. Having an on-call group of professionals with a wide range of talents from cybersecurity to infrastructure or cloud storage means that your business gains valuable insight without having to retain full-time staff members in each of those technical verticals.

Proactive Solutions = Exceptional Uptime

Your small business computer support professionals should be continually looking for proactive ways to ensure the stability of your network infrastructure, website platforms, cloud storage and more. Regular maintenance, as well as on-time installation of upgrades and patches, help protect your sensitive business data and applications. Active monitoring of your network and endpoints allows your IT solutions provider to quickly investigate any abnormalities before they can spread throughout your system. These proactive solutions help your team stay productive and consistent in their ability to access information regardless of their physical location.

Dedicated Backup and Recovery Procedures

Losing several days worth of information could be a fatal blow to your organization, especially if you're attempting to go back and rebuild everything from customer orders to vendor deliveries without access to reliable backups. Gone are the days when a tape backup is the best option. Today's robust backup and recovery procedures include redundant offsite backups that are performed on a regular basis based on the unique needs of your business. Servers can be rebuilt quickly to minimize any potential downtime, and your business can restart from an alternate location in the event of a devastating fire or cyberattack.

Streamlined Operations for Consistent Delivery

Unexpected glitches can throw a wrench in your day, and that's especially true when the problem affects a wide swath of your organization. If your accounting team is unable to access their accounts for an extended period of time, you could be losing thousands of dollars in productivity over the course of several weeks. Even slow operations can cause frustration with your staff members, de-motivating them from achieving excellence in customer care or internal operations. Your selected small business computer support vendor should be able to troubleshoot any discrepancies in your network operations and help resolve them, for smooth and consistent communication and flow of information throughout your organization and beyond.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
