Fall is the time of year where fashion takes its high point. There's a reason why the September issue of Vogue is twice as thick as the others- layering. Fall is when we can add as many pieces as we want without fear of dying of a summer heat stroke. In college, this quickly becomes a fraternity boy's shirt you stole last weekend at the ATO house, with a cardi and duck boots, which I completely condone. Here are 13 things 2018 has brought back to elevate your lazy class look that you can take into brunch this weekend.

Silk Scarves.

It may just be the southern Midwest, but I'm going to take a stab and say it's not just us.

Tied around a ponytail, or on your tote bag, these little scarfs are a vintage trend that is back in a big way.

Off Shoulder Sweaters

Finding the right off shoulder sweater fit is as difficult as finding a roommate. You want it to be relaxed, but not a complete mess. You want it to chill with in class, but also be totally up for going out on the weekend.

Kendra Drop Earrings.

All love to the classic Kendra Elisa necklace, but I'm over it. I haven't seen one in months and it's made me realize there's so much more Kendra to love. The Elisa is pretty, but to really elevate riding boots, your philanthropy tee and sweater cardigan, think about adding a drop earring. Customize the Elle Earrings to match your university color and you have something that will take you from your Sooner gameday Instas to your Insta story at El Mag on a Thursday night.

Plaid & Pink Infinities

LOFT is always full of soft pink and infinity scarfs to elevate a winter look.

Knee-high Hunters

Get some to complement your Hunters, or better yet the $40 rain boots you bought at Target. No one will be able to tell.

Tortoise Shell Glasses

You don't need blurry vision to be a part of this trend. Screen glasses now exist to protect your eyes from the constant blue light we live with from phones and computer screens. Protect your eyes and look studious all at once. I'm here for it.

$3 Christmas Socks at Target

If you can't do anything else, pick these up at your next Target run and stay happy all November & December long.

Daily Fun Lists

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
