Commuting-Pros

You have home-cooked meals every night.

You get to sleep in your own bed.

You can keep the job you've had forever at home.

You have your own space.

You are saving money in the long run by not paying for housing or on-campus expenses.

Your family is right there for constant support.

Your mom still does your laundry.

Your pets are at home.

Commuting- Cons

You have to fill up your gas tank every week.

You miss out on the experience.

It's hard to make new friends.

You have to make plans ahead of time to get anywhere in a timely manner.

You're forced to go to the library when you have a big gap between classes.

You literally cannot sleep in.

Scheduling is tough because you have to meet up with your advisor during the hours you aren't on campus.

Driving the same route everyday gets boring.

Weather dictates everything!

Traffic will make you late to class.

You worry that your friends forget about you.

Your parking pass is for a lot that is located in China.

Searching through the parking lot gets frustrating.

Parking tickets.

You don't look forward to breaks because you aren't going anywhere.

Living at school- Pros

You meet new people everyday.

You don't have to ask for permission.

Meal swipes are convenient.

There's always something to do.

You can go to the library whenever you feel like it.

There's always someone to talk to.

You can wake up five minutes before class.

You can car-pool anywhere.

If one person doesn't want to do something, you have a thousand others to choose from.

Everyone is always up for Dunkin'.

You can walk to the sporting events.

You can take a nap whenever you want.

You can share everything with your roommate.

There's usually some type of transportation system.

You can be as loud as you want at any time or the day or night depending on where your housing is.

You're almost always connected to wifi.

You can decorate however you want!

Living at School- Cons

You don't have your mom and dad for support or guidance.

You have to eat at the commons.

You're pretty much always going to be broke.

Meal swipes are limited and it's scary when you start to run out of them.

You are 100% going to gain weight from either the food or the alcohol.

You won't get a lot of alone time.

There will be a lot of peer pressure.

It's hard not to give into peer pressure.

If your roommate leaves your door open, it's game over.

Taking a nap is risky and people are loud.

When one person is in a bad mood, everyone is in a bad mood.

Parking tickets. Parking tickets. Parking tickets.

Your roommate uses your things without asking.

Things go missing easily and no one knows what happened.

If you're living in the dorms, it's going to be loud when you least expect it to be.

Though he wifi is free- it's absolutely awful to stay connected to.

You have to find your own way to do laundry, even worse you have to pay for the detergent.

Take it from a girl who has done both. Living at home can be convenient but you are definitely missing out on the experience. Before you make your decision, weigh your options but remember, these are the best days of our lives. Enjoy.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
