A common right of passage some may say is experiencing the ever so glorious community bathrooms. They tend to come along in one's first college dorm, and they are just unforgettable. So if you have experienced living in community with approx. 40 other girls, you know these things are all #Relatable.

1. How ~lovely~ everyone looks in the bathroom at 7 a.m.

Everyone in the hall gets to experience your bedhead, lack of makeup, grumpy self. Talk about bounding.

2. That One Stall

If ya know, ya know. Typically located in the back.

3. When you have to pee at 2 a.m.

That long walk is 10 times longer.

4. Hair in the shower

There is nothing to add, it is the absolute worst.

5. Is it Gross if I don't shower?

Is it weird if I ask her? Nah.

7. You probably have a favorite sink

If you can't have a sink in your room, might as well adopt one.

8. Thinking if you lived on a boy floor.

Shoutout to the girls!!!

9. Wondering if your shower will be hot.

This might just be applicable to my sweet old little dorm, but it struggles with this. Pool water showers? Cool, I guess.

10. The people who play their music in the shower.

I was fortunate enough that the girl loved Taylor Swift's new album, but sometimes the country twang is not what you want to hear while trying to enjoy your hot (??) shower.

11. Germs!!

How clean is this? Do they use Bleach?

12. You probably love it, or you hate it.

Community bathrooms are an interesting thing to experience, but it could be worse! Plus what's 10 months in a dorm? Before you know it you'll be in a cool apartment or move into a nicer dorm. You may even miss always having a relatively clean shower!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
