Coming Home From Vacation

There is no place like home

Coming Home From Vacation

Coming home from vacation is depressing, point blank. You go away and get away from “real life” and do things out of the ordinary, but when that time comes to an end, its hard to want to get back into life again! But, trying to find the positivity in life, there are a few things that can make coming home a little easier...

Your OWN bed

Nothing, and I mean nothing can compare to my bed. It is my happy place and the place I know that can take away any bad day or just give me my comfort back. No hotel bed can even compete with the feeling of my huge bed and the billion pillows I have.

2. Having your closest back

I overpack to begin with but when I get on vacation it does not matter, I always forget at least one thing that I can live without, but be happier in.

3. Eating normal

When I go on vacation I either eat way to much or I eat nothing at all. If we do an amusement park vacation, I will eat absolutely nothing and feel like shit most nights because we are so busy. But cruise, or beach trips, always involve way to much eating/drinking and it always shows where ya don't want it to.

4. The feeling of home.

No matter how many times I leave, or where I go, I always have this comfort of finally just being home. We all say we need a break from life and to get away and although that is important, nothing can compare to the feeling of home.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
