When most people think of Thanksgiving, especially college students, they think, "Yes! I get to go home!" or "I get a home cooked meal!" or "I get to see my family after such and such months!" But many seniors who are coming home to see their families, who just want to come home and sleep, are going to be given the many questions you have been asking yourself since your semester began.

Throughout the entire semester, you're trying to figure out what the future holds for you. Most people know, most people don't. As much as I want to go home and be with my friend, I'm dreading the questions that I will most likely be receiving as well as many other seniors when we return home.

1. "How's School?"

College seniors aren't the only people that get this question, even elementary school kids get this question. The only difference between two is that one is a little more excited about what they did versus the other. . .I think you can guess which is which.

2. "Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?"

The human race is nosy — we can't help it. It's apart of our DNA or something. So don't be all that surprised with this question. In my own personal case, I don't even have the time to worry about myself much less think about another person.

3. "What are you going to do once you graduate?"

This question is the most dreaded out of any other question. You, being the college senior, are more worried about just finishing the current semester and passing all your finals while graduation dangles over your head. You haven't even considered the possibilities of the real world yet.

Besides all these "wonderful" questions, you get to go home and see your lovely family after so many months away at college. It will be nice to see familiar faces and really catch up with friends and just have the break that you deserve, before winter break. On that note, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy this nice break. We all definitely need it.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
