Comfee Flashwave® is a New Benchmark | CFO-SA231 Air Fryer Oven

When it comes to the air fryers industry,

the Comfee Flashwave® tech easily sets itself apart from the rest and impresses on so many levels. Read our take on this sweet new hardware from Comfee and learn why you should consider buying it.

There are only so many appliances that can fit in our kitchen due to the restricted counter and cabinet space. Some new appliances that are introduced find a home in our kitchen, while others do not. We frequently utilize an air fryer and a deep fryer, a toaster, among other gadgets. With the help of this review, I hope to replace all of these appliances with just one, freeing up some much-needed kitchen space. Will the Comfee Flashwave® Air Fry Oven accomplish the task? Find out by reading on.

What's in the box of Comfee CFO-SA231 Air Fryer Oven?

  • Air fry oven
  • Four trays
  • Instruction manual (including quick start guide, and recipes)
  • Generous protective packaging

Highlights of Comfee CFO-SA231 Air Fryer Oven

This specific oven has a large capacity, multiple trays, and seven cooking settings and is rated at 1760 Watts, and comes with good-quality trays.

Hardware

The oven is well-built and comes with a stainless-steel finish. The oven is prone to hard prints and smudges, but the feel of premium materials is there. The edges are curved just like any other oven out there and look very sleek thanks to its smart dimensions. Four trays are included with it. I usually leave it in the crumb tray, which sits at the very bottom and functions much like a toaster in terms of collecting crumbs. I only utilize the others when necessary. The wire rack is used for everything else, the baking tray is used for baking, and the air fryer basket is used to air fry meals.

Functions:

The Comfee Flashwave® CFO-SA231 comes with ten different functions: Air Fry, Sear Crisp, Rapid Bake, Air Roast, Reheat, Broil, Dehydrate, etc. You also get three preset modes to cook pizza, bagel, and toast are also there. All these functions are given preset or custom times with the rotating knob on the bottom right of the oven.

Performance:

This oven comes with a set of unique features, which is the reason why it gets so much attention and love. The negligible preheat time allows your pizza to be done in noticeably less time. In actual use, I was surprised to find it even 20% faster than the time in the manual. When you use it in air fry mode to make fried chicken, it gives you a perfectly crispy and juicy meal very much comparable to a specialized restaurant (remember to use a baking tray to catch the oil from the fry). Its Sear Crisp function can also handle ingredients that require high temperatures, such as pork chops. The inside temperature can climb up to 500 degrees making cooking faster and much easier.

Comfee Flashwave® Tech, Gimmick, or Useful?

It is not the company that pulled out something new from its sleeves. The Comfee Flashwave® tech is the company's own patented technology that enables the oven to greatly reduce the waiting time for preheating. In technical terms, the oven only takes 15 minutes when cook full meal as compared to the 20 minutes required by any other air fryer oven,up to 40% faster. The reason is that traditional ovens commonly use quartz tubes, metal tubes, etc., which have a long response time, resulting in long heat-up and slow baking. The oven’s Comfee Flashwave® technology uses a graphene baking tube, which is currently the industry's fastest heating tube, which can be powered on for 0.2 seconds to complete preheating. This tech greatly reduces the cooking times compared to any other ordinary toaster oven out there. This function makes it unique, and we loved this too. The result is shorter cooking times and less waiting for your pizza to get ready.

Verdict:

I would sum up by saying that the Comfee Flashwave® CFO-SA231 is a great piece of hardware that impresses on many levels. It replaces many appliances in the kitchen and gives more space, thanks to its smart design and multi-functions. The device is well-built and has eco modes which we love. The air fryer and fast heating options are great and are impressive kitchen appliances. All at a budget price.

We recommend this oven to those who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on their appliances and still want acceptable results. The Comfee Flashwave® tech is also a nice touch that we haven't seen in any other appliance at the time of writing. We value having more room in our kitchen and value the additional functionality provided by an air fryer oven.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
