Why you need to visit Santorini

Come Visit The Most Beautiful Place In The Mediterranean

If you have the chance to travel to Greece, I highly recommend Santorini. It is often known for its white-washed buildings with bright blue roofs, but Santorini offers much more than just looks. Between art, culture, and food, Santorini always gave us something to do. Below is a list of reasons you should check out Santorini.

1. You can ride a donkey.

This was actually one of the scariest things I have ever done. You literally are riding solo up the cliff-side of Santorini and praying that the donkey loves you enough to get to the top in one piece. This is definitely one of those once in a life time things.

2. You can swim in hot springs

This was a blast. A boat brings you out to the hot springs where you can jump off and just relax. Definitely give this a try, unless it is the middle of October and the water is freezing. Then don't be stupid like us.

3. You can hike a volcano!

Get your hiking shoes ready, it's a long hike uphill, but the views are so worth it.

4. Take a trip to Red Sand Beach.

This beach literally looks like a giant mound of chocolate. This is perhaps one of the most unique beaches I have seen. Come here and say you swam in the Aegean Sea.

5. You can have your feet eaten by fish.

I am honestly not quite sure how sanitary this is, but you need to try it once. Only pay for the smallest amount of time in case you absolutely flip when the fish start biting between your toes.

6. You can see a Greek theater show!

Eat some amazing Greek food, dance, and break some plates. For more about this amazing show check out: http://www.whitedoorsantorini.com/

7. You can play out your long lived fantasy of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

8. You can enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Seriously, this place has some of the prettiest sunsets in the world which remind you just how beautiful our world really is.

9. You can literally get lost and still have an amazing time.

This place contains some of my best memories in the world.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
