5 Reasons Colton Isn't My Favorite Bachelor

I recently just got into watching the bachelor, and after binge-watching a few old seasons, I have come to a conclusion.

I don't think Colton is the best bachelor. He's cute and has good intentions, but I'm not sure that's enough to offset all of the not so great things that he does. I know this is just a reality tv show and I can't see what happens behind the scenes so these are only my opinions.

1. He's shallow

As I said, we don't know everything that goes on behind the scenes, but I mean still. He only ever talks about how gorgeous and attractive the girls are, nothing more than that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that doesn't matter, but these girls are more than just a pretty face. Can he mention how much fun he had with a girl because her personality was amazing instead of talking about how blue her eyes are? These women have substance, personalities, and senses of humor. It's not always about looks.

2. He's too involved with the drama

I'm not going to lie, part of the reason I started to watch the bachelor was because of the drama. Who doesn't love watching grown women going at it on national television? However, I do think there's something wrong with Colton getting involved in every single issue. He only listens to one girl, he asks other girls about drama, and he spends almost everyone's one on one talking about drama. I love the drama, but I just wish Colton wouldn't be so involved.

3. He can't form his own opinions

Colton can't seem to form his own opinions, especially when it comes to drama. It seems like he only listens to one side of the story. Whenever one girl would tell him drama, he would just automatically assume that it was right and couldn't face the possibility of it being a rumor. Colton just accepts whatever girl tells him to be the truth and then he also asks other girls about said rumor? Colton, form your own opinion, please.

4. He leads girls on

Okay, I know this is part of the show, for him to fall in love with the girls and have them fall in with him, but still. He tells girls he can absolutely see a future with them, and then sends them home. For example, he told Caelynn that he could see a future with her and then he just sends her home? That's just one example, but seriously he did it quite a few times.

5. He's too focused on the fantasy suites

Sorry, but I'm going to say it. He's way too focused on the fantasy suites (if you catch my drift) that he isn't even remembering why he's there. He's there to find love, not just to spend a night in the fantasy suites. It's all he can seem to talk about. Sure, he's never been to the fantasy suites before, but can we please talk about something else?

So yes, these are my own opinions on why Colton isn't the best bachelor. That doesn't mean I hate him, I still think he's cute and adorable. Let's just say I'm excited to see who the next bachelorette is.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
