If you live the same kind of high-caliber, exciting life that I do, you probably ran out of shows to binge watch approximately three weeks after the summer started (or less, if we're being honest). In the spirit of keeping your Netflix game strong and helping you achieve the wild, envy-inducing summer you always dreamed of, here is my contribution to making sure that you never have an excuse to get anything productive done again:
1. "West Wing"
Essentially the OG (read: better) version of "House of Cards."
2. "Lie to Me"
If House wasn't an asshole or a doctor, this show would be House.
3. "Paranormal Activity 5: The Marked Ones"
Even if you gave up on the Paranormal Activity series four movies ago like everyone else in the world (unlike me), this one is actually worth it.
4. "Swarms"
If you want to learn something while you Netflix (and you don't mind the insect induced anxiety attacks that inevitably follow watching this documentary.)
5. "City of God"
For fans of underdogs, photography, the name 'Rocket,' and movies that are, as described by Netflix, "dark, violent, and gritty."
6. "Wilfred"
Literally the weirdest, yet most hilarious show that unbelievably never got the attention it deserved--it can't get much better than Frodo and a talking dog.
7. "The Inbetweeners"
British TV is indisputably the best TV.
8. "One Day"
For the days that you need a solid movie to cry to. Pairs well with a pint of Ben & Jerry's and a glass (or four) of wine.
9. "Drop Dead Diva"
I've never actually seen this show, but my roommate made me include it in this list because, apparently, "IT'S THE SH*T."
10. "The Others"
Low key one of the most underrated suspenseful/scary movies out there that will definitely make you rethink everything you know about life.
11. "Freaks & Geeks"
It only lasted for one season, but if it's good enough for Childish Gambino to name a song after, it's good enough for the rest of us.
12. "Greek"
A highly entertaining and ~not at all inaccurate~ representation of Greek life.
13. "Skins"
THE BRITISH VERSION. (see #7)
14. "Being Human"
Yet another show that America knocked off from the British, but this one somehow didn't suck.
15. "The Intouchables"
On a serious note, foreign films aren't for everyone, but this movie is incredible and will not disappoint. (Plus, watching foreign films is basically the same thing as traveling all summer, right?)
16. "Zombeavers"
All I have to say is that the viewing of this movie should be a requirement for everyone, to be honest.
