Life is one whirlwind of a ride, with each week being its very own emotional roller coaster. Now, with the Tar Heels on their way to make history, it's safe to say that basketball has undoubtedly been on our brains — and we're in luck. Not only have our champs brought in the glory, but they've also accurately depicted the range of emotions we face in our day-to-day college lives. What more do you need?

1. You realize you've cruised into the last month of the school year.

You've worked hard all year, and everything is finally winding down. You got this.

2. Regardless, your professor tells you that your 8 a.m. exam the day after the national championships has, unfortunately, not been rescheduled.

We're not crying on the inside. It's fine. Really.

3. Getting ready for the long day ahead of you, you head toward the bus stop. Your transport arrives the minute that you do.

What can you say? Your timing was impeccable. Consider it a notable personal victory.

4. You know you're going to be grinding it out all day, so you might as well look good. You put together the perfect outfit and can't help #FeelinYoself.

True. Own it.

5. You get to campus, and 15 people wave at you on your way to the library to send their well-wishes.

Oh right, you *do* still have friends, even if you are slowly withering away to your doom on the inside.

6. On top of that, of all people, you catch the eye of your campus unicorn.

Yeah, and you already knew you were looking fab.

7. You get to the library and come to slow, painful realization of exactly how much it is you do not know.

It's about to be a long day.

8. You notice you're responsible for knowing about 50 other topics the professor didn't quite clarify.

Come to college, they said. You can do it, they said.

9. You realize that some kind souls suffering alongside you have made a Google doc, and your pains become significantly more tolerable because you're all in it together.

Time to get your head in the game. (Pun intended.)

10. You've got your headphones in, your textbook out, and you're deep in the work flow.

No one's about to stop you now.

11. Your roomie feels your pain and brings you lunch during your time of suffering.

And they had strawberries in the dining hall today.

12. An alert pops up on your phone stating that your other classes have been cancelled, so now you have more time to study.

Receive all praises thine.

13. You're studying and there's a lot on your plate right now, but life doesn't stop throwing hurdles at you. Still, you block out the negativity and keep on trucking.

The haters can leave.

14. You come to the realization that you worked in the library so long that you've neglected personal hygiene.

Well, results don't come from slacking.

15. The next day, you get to class to find that your professor decided to (at least) add a curve.

There's always a silver lining.

16. Looking at the test before you, you realize you feel fully prepared for about two questions.

Ha ... but ... maybe it won't be so bad?

17. When the time comes and you see your grade, you realize that you aced the exam anyway.

You may be feeling sleep-deprived and slightly deranged, but it was all worth it.

18. Now, you're ready to #MarcusRage because your teams made it to the national championships.

Get. Hype.

19. Win or lose, you know your team still crushes all.

'Cause it's always a GDTBATH.

20. And, after everything's said and done, you're truly amazed by your student body family; life doesn't get much better when you're attending the best university on earth.

Work hard, play hard. Go Heels.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
