College, As Told by Everyone's Favorite Elf

Just because it isn’t quite Christmas yet (less than 100 days, not that I’m counting) doesn’t mean you can’t have a little Buddy the Elf in your life. It turns out he’s really relatable when it comes to life as a college student.

When It’s Test Week

You’re gonna need coffee and a LOT of it.

When You Do a Webassign and Your Answer Says It’s Wrong and the Correct Answer is the Exact Same Thing.

It's happened to the best of us. It might be the most frustrating thing that could possibly happen.

And So, You’re Just Trying to Procrastinate Studying Even More.

Everyone trying to get inside may hate you. But, hey! At least you have an extra minute of not studying.

Then It’s Almost Test Day and You’re Super Stressed.

Emotional breakdowns. They happen. You may get delusional.

When You See Your Test Grade Finally…. And It Isn’t What You Hoped.

Don’t worry. There’s always a next time.

So You Go Out and Try To Make Friends.

Learning new things about your new friends leads to the deepest bonds.

The best friendships are centered around food. Everyone knows that.

But You’re on a Strict Diet

... of sugar.

So You Think of Other Things to do with Your New Friends

And Finally When You Start to Feel How Good the Weather is Outside.

This means breaks from school are coming and you’ll get to hangout with your friends and family without stress.

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
