Between the food, being able to catch up on sleep, and not having to go to class for a few day, Thanksgiving break is one of a college student's favorite time of the year.

1. The last class before break is spent staring at the clock, wondering if it'll ever end

2. You finally get out of your class, and a feeling of pure happiness for the long weekend rushes over you

3. You leave campus (and all your worries) behind you

4. Soon, it's Thanksgiving Day, and all you have to do is focus on food

5. But not before you have to deal with your relatives talking to you about school

6. You spend the rest of the weekend doing pointless things, and not even bothering to get any work done

7. Instead, you take lots of naps and catch up on the sleep you've missed

8. You then realize that you have a ton of work to do and no time to do it

9. You come up with any excuse not to do it

10. The night before you go back to class is spent doing said work

11. You travel back to school, wishing you had a longer break but excited to get back to your friends

12. But even if you have to go back, you still have hope, because Christmas break is just around the corner!

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
