If you're like most people, then you're probably starting to get in the holiday spirit because November has finally arrived! Maybe you're starting to plan your Thanksgiving feast or getting some early Christmas shopping out the way. Perhaps you're sitting outside enjoying the nice fall breeze while sipping a pumpkin spice latte. Odds are, if you're in college, you're not doing anything remotely close to that! When you're in college, November just doesn't seem as magical as it used to. Our GPAs are dropping faster than the temperature, and while the cold air once reminded us of nights spent nestled on the couch with a warm cup of hot chocolate, it now reminds us of fast approaching deadlines and exams. Here's what college students go through during November!
1. When the Halloween candy goes on sale on November 1st.
Give me all the candies!
2. When you realize you only have a month to bring up your GPA.
3. Trying to figure out exactly what you've learned in the last three months.
What classes am I even taking?!
4. Frantically trying to schedule for next semester.
5. Seeing that all of the classes you wanted to take are full.
6. Waking up before 10 A.M. is nearly impossible.
7. When you look at all of the due dates coming up.
8. Having to get out of your nice, warm bed and walk to class in the freezing cold.
9. When you realize finals are next month.
10. Thinking about all the food you're gonna eat at Thanksgiving.
I'm gonna bust it up!!!
11. Questioning if you're even cut out to be in college.
12. Calculating the minimum amount of work you need to do in order to pass.
Always remember - C's get degrees!
