Spring Break is a time for people to let the stress of college fade away under the hot sun. It is an important time after midterms and papers that every college student looks forward to. While most parents think Spring Break is somewhere in Florida or on a beach somewhere, or my first college spring break most of my friends did not go to beach. Instead, they went to some really cool places. Here are the top non-typical Spring Break destinations this year.

1. Home

While not a typical fun destination, seeing your family after weeks or months can be one of the best times in the world.

2. Iceland

3. Belize

4. California

5. A rainforest in South America

6. Canada

7. New York City

8. Chicago

9. Charleston

10. Cancun

11. Cayman Islands

Spring Break can be spent at home or it can be spent somewhere exotic, or it can be spent in the snow. Wherever you go, remember to take a deep breath and relax because once you get back to school, finals are right around the corner.

With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Stop Hollywood

Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
