10 Fulfilling Moments That Make All College Students Feel Like They're On Cloud 9

There are those moments when you feel like you are on top of the world. Those moments where you feel like there is absolutely nothing tearing you down. You're unstoppable. You're at complete ease (or at least just for a moment). Sometimes, its the little things in life that are the most appreciated.

1. Getting an A on a test that you thought you failed

No greater feeling than realizing you are smarter than you thought you were. It's the most satisfying feeling in the world.

2. Drinking ice cold water when you first wake up in the morning

Especially during the summer!

3. Finally going to bed after a really long day

Me right now, honestly.

4. Taking a shower after coming back from the gym

Going to the gym in of itself is pretty satisfying, but the shower after is the best feeling in the world.

5. Seeing your dog for the first time in a long time

What an amazing stress-reliever.

6. Seeing your dog ever

Again, so stress-free.

7. Walking out of your very last final at the end of the semester

And I'm sure we absolutely cannot wait until May when we have the whole summer of no classes.

8. Finishing an assignment before its due date

Sometimes it's really cutting it close to the deadline, but that feeling when you submit is the whole weight of the world lifting off of your shoulders.

9. When your nails are perfectly manicured

Sometimes when your life is a mess, your manicure makes you feel a little bit more at peace.

10. Waking up actually feeling refreshed

I'm aware that this rarely ever happens, but when it does, we very, very much appreciate it.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
