I know the running joke is your family asking you a bajillion questions, but really there's so much more over the holidays. It truly is a time to be treasured and enjoyed.
1. Home-cooked meals
Okay, some of it might be from a box, but it's the thought that counts!
2. Your family being interesting in what you're doing
At least they care!
3. Actually seeing your family
Man, I'd forgotten what that's like.
4. Generous family members
One year I jokingly started the "Kinsey is broke and unemployed" foundation and my grandma actually gave me money.
5. Good friends
You're always making new friends in college!
6. Breaks
We get 3 in one semester but they feel so far apart.
7. Indoor sports
It's that time of year folks! No more freezing our asses off for football!
8. Sweater weather
Whether you prefer a traditional sweater or a sweatshirt, you feel just a little bit cozier and you totally could've just rolled out of bed and that is much more socially acceptable during holiday season.
9. Love
Familial, friendly, romantic. You have love in your life, I promise.
10. Higher education
College sucks sometimes, but not everyone has the opportunity or ability to go to college. Be thankful.
