To Every College Student Stressing Over Finals

Don't stress so much over finals you overwork yourself.

To Every College Student Stressing Over Finals

It's the time of the semester that every college student hates, finals week. Where you have to memorize every little detail that you learned over the past couple of months and you start to stress yourself over this. Remember these things;

1. Grades don't define you

Everyone is shooting for the best grades possible, but just get the grades you need to get your degree. Do the best you can even if your best is a C

2. Take Care of yourself

Make sure you get the sleep you need, there aren't as many hours in the day as we wish and we all want to study for as long as possible but make sure you take care of your body.

3. Your Parents will still love you

You're pursuing something for yourself and your parents will be proud of you no matter what. Take a break, everyone loves you no matter what

4. Stay healthy

I know, we all want to just go out to eat because it's the easiest and quickest thing to do. But the late night Mcdonalds or Taco Bell run won't be good for your body

5. Getting help isn't a bad thing

Getting help isn't a bad thing, it shows your professor that you care. Even if you get help with a professor or a private tutor, there's nothing wrong with any of it.

6. Get out of the library or bedroom

Don't just sit in the library the whole time. You need to get out of the library and do something for yourself. Don' let finals ruin your time being young.

7. Break is coming

You'll have that break soon so don't overdo yourself during this week. There will always be more semesters and making sure you're okay is worth more than overwhelming your body.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
