Air Pods

The apple bluetooth headphones are very popular this year. Although they`re a little expensive they are definitely worth the money, especially if you`re a college student.

New Tennis ShoesĀ

This may seem basic, but it is very beneficial! Walking around on campus, shoes get worn out quick, and christmas is the perfect time to get a brand new pair of tennis shoes for the upcoming semester.

Blankets, all the blankets

I mean, does this one even require an explanation? Blankets are always a good idea for a present, you can never have too many!

Face Masks, Eye Masks, Etc.Ā

College is stressful, and one of the best ways to relax is with a good face mask. Christmas is the perfect time to ask for that face mask you`ve been wanting.

New decor for your apartment/dorm

After a while, it gets old looking at the same pictures and pillows, so asking for new decor for Christmas can really help spice up your apartment for next semester.

Makeup

This is something that always tops my christmas list. Makeup is expensive and Christmas is a great time to get the high end makeup you`ve been wanting all semester!

Restaurant gift cards

Could this be anymore practical? A lot of times, us broke college students would love to go out to eat but don`t have money, and stocking up on gift cards can give you a great boost into next semester. Also, a starbucks card is always a great idea!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
