Many have called it the most exciting video of nature ever captured. This video of a baby iguana running through a gauntlet of snakes kept millions of people on the edge of their seats as they cheered for the iguana to make it. The clip is from the Island episode of Planet Earth II, and it seems more like a clip from an action movie than a nature documentary. To put it mildly, this is intense.

Easily the most stressful part of the video takes place when the iguana runs directly into a group of snakes. Just when viewers think that there is no hope left, the iguana finds a way to escape from a knot of snakes like that. The iguana's escape from this tumultuous situation could be described as nothing less than miraculous.

The fortitiude of the iguana in the clip above depicts what it means to be in college. When it is time to submit three papers, take two exams, or a combination of both during one week. It is safe to say that college students feel like an iguana wrapped up by the snakes. The key to survival is fighting through it, and perserverance. If an iguana can make it through this sticky situation, you can graduate from college.

The photo above is representative of what you will look like after you survive all the papers and exams while getting maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep per night. In times like these, be sure to channel your inner iguana: you.will.survive.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
