It is well known that most college students have a stressful couple of weeks between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break to take care of final papers, projects, and exams. This intense rush can make the Grinch a little more understandable than we might expect.

1. Having a ridiculously long to-do list can dominate your daily routine

2. Getting overwhelmed by the workload can bring on some breakdowns

3. Turning the library into a bunker can put some social activities on the back burner

4. Snacking and procrastination are some pretty serious distractions

5. Reading possible essay topics for final exams can go a little bit like this...

6. When professors give extra assignments while you're trying to study

7. Watching people not even cracking open a book when you haven't slept in days

8. Finally getting ready to finally go back home and see your family for Christmas!

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
