We have officially been living in our new apartment for a few weeks now and have slowly started settling in and making the place a home for ourselves.

It's definitely taken some time to get used to not living on-campus anymore but life is better this way. And I seriously have the best roommates in the world. They make life so much more interesting and fun. Without even trying, we're started to make our own little rituals, nighttime activities, and kitchen adventures.

We've become not just roommates but really good girlfriends who care for one another. And so here are some gifs that pretty much sum up our time living together.

1. Our reactions after watching the latest Handmaid Tale's episode.

2. Cooking or cleaning, the kitchen is our dance floor.

3. Being furniture-less we spend a lot of moments bonding on the floor.

4. UNO is life in our household.

5. "We don't know what our utility bill will be next month, so let's turn off the AC!"

6. "I'm hungry...who wants to order takeout?"

7. Just got home and realizes the fridge is empty but is too lazy to go down the road and buy some more.

8. "Can I borrow this, I just ran out?"

9. Walmart runs

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
